[to wander]
To walk, drive or travel in some way without a
specific destination. It is the journey itself
that is important.
I love being on the move and immersing myself in unfamiliar worlds. With my camera, I accompany people for a part of their journey and give their stories a voice.
ABOUT ME

On the move,
to bring stories
to life.

I’m Marisa,
a photographer and visual storyteller.

I love being out and about
where people are passionate about something
and you can sense nature.

That’s exactly where the stories unfold
that I capture with my camera.
What Drives My Work as a Photographer

1. People with Passion:
I love working with people who are passionate about what they do and follow their courage.

2. Connection to Nature:
I want to show how we can live in harmony with our environment.

3. Documentation over perfection:
My style is candid. Whether on a trip to the other side of the world or a project back home in Munich
- I capture moments as they happen.

What to expect from me
Being self-employed gives me the freedom to shape every day exactly as I wish.
I want to use this freedom to bring meaningful projects to life.
Meaning in the sense of taking responsibility for nature, resources, the future, and ultimately for oneself.

I’m not just your photographer for a beautiful picture.
I’m the one who tells your story with empathy,
a documentary eye, and the necessary dose of adventurous spirit.

I want to be curious and immerse myself in your world.
Through visual storytelling, I want to provide the stage that you and your project deserve.

My Journey to Photography
I held my first camera in my hands at the age of nine.
Back then, I had no idea about photography.
The moment everything changed came years later on a trip to New Zealand.
I took photos every day: landscapes, people, little encounters along the way.
At some point, it dawned on me: This is exactly what I want to do.

I initially decided to study media production and media technology.

In 2019, I registered as a self-employed photographer
and began taking on my first photo and video assignments.

After earning my bachelor’s degree in 2022, I took the plunge into full-time self-employment.
It’s been an exciting journey full of ups and downs,
during which I’ve gotten to know myself better and better.

I love my work because no two days are alike.
Every shoot, every client, every project brings something new
and that’s exactly what inspires me over and over again.
